My mom was one of the best bakers in all of North Dakota (where I grew up).  She taught me early on that the gift of a good homemade cookie is the best way to enter the hearts of family and friends…… and brings the baker an equal amount of joy!

 

I now bake for my own family and friends and like my mom, believe in using only the best and freshest ingredients.  Family and friend….. that’s how I describe every dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of being called their human.  I feel there is simply nothing more soul feeding than gaining the love of a dog.

 

I’ve named two of my treats after the special girls in our family.  Tango is our big brown dog that loves the peanut butter bones.  I can just hear her saying “these are Tangolicious” in between crunches!  I’m always referring to our sweet Tali as little “heart of mine”  and so what else to name her favorite treats?!
